Concept Number 1 It is Inspired by a bold movement that positively disrupts the staus quo. This Limited edition single malt scotch whisky is inspired by the world of surreal art. Created from whiskies matured first in sherry-seasoned oak casks and then in ex-bourbon casks. This is called Double Maturation. The whisky was first matured in sherry-seasoned oak casks to deliver The Macallan's characteristic naturalcolour and distinctive aromas. It was then transferred to ex-bourbon casks for anequal period of time to complete the maturationcreating a truly unique flavour profile of oak spice,citrus and ginger. Macallan Concept Number 1 whisky is "No Longer In Production, Only Available In Limited Quantity".
