Sullivans Cove Special Single Cask Single Malt Whisky 700mL

Special Cask 4th Edition comes from single cask TD0228. This whisky was aged for ten years and nine months in a 200L French Oak barrel that was previously used to mature Australian Muscat fortified wine. Bottled at 50% ABV, this is the first-ever single cask of Muscat-aged whisky released by Sullivans Cove.

"Treacle running over oak dominates the nose of this incredibly rich whisky, along with ripe stone fruits, muscatels and Arnott's Lattice biscuits. Honey, orange peel, liquorice, melons and cream on the palate are supported by a backbone of fine tannin and spice with warming anise and cinnamon throughout, while thick cream and caramel fudge counterpoint the brightness of grape jelly on the finish. A must try for lovers of fortified-wine-cask aged single malt whiskies and a unique offering from Sullivans Cove."
